Grada Publishing just acquired the foreign rights to "The Way," enabling them to translate the book and publish it in the Czech language worldwide.

Grada Publishing is the most prominent Czech publishing house in the area of non-fiction literature. Grada is one of the country's largest publishers, annually  producing about 400 new titles, focusing on specialized and popular science titles, children’s literature, and personal growth and spirituality.


 

My grandmother's maiden name was Huss, and we are reportedly related to Jan Hus, a Czech religious reformer who was burned at the stake for heresy. Nearly six centuries later, Pope John Paul II expressed "deep regret for the cruel death inflicted" on Hus and praised his "moral courage."

Jan Hus became a symbol of dissidence and a symbol of strength against oppressive regimes.In 1915, the Czechs erected a huge statue in Old Town Square in Prague to commemorate the 500th anniversary of his martyrdom. Whether we are related or not, he has always been one of my heroes. 

I am very grateful, humbled, and proud that the book will soon be available to Czech readers.

And I'm reaching out to other foreign publishers, hoping for Bengali, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, and/or Spanish translations.
