Most People Will Do the Right Thing
There are a few things that I learned in 30 years of working with companies and governments that help me to stay focused in stressful times.:
1) Most people are smart
2) Most people have good intentions
3) Most people will do the right thing
4) and the rest will go along, if it helps them
5) Most bad things that are done can be undone
6) Most change happens almost too little, almost too late
7) but because it happens, we usually avoid the worst outcomes
8} Most good solutions are practical, not philosophical
9) Most good solutions involve compromise
10) Most “zero tolerance” solutions just cause more problems
